This is a picture of the helmet Joan of Arc would have worn in the war. This shows me that the armor was not very protective, and Joan of Arc would have had to be a skillful fighter is she were to stay alive.

This source was a file from Joan of Arc’s financial papers that spoke of the lack of funding. It talked about the ways Joan of Arc had to make her way around the funding issues. This source was helpful because it made me understand that Joan was a true leader and led her people very well.

This source was a letter from Joan of Arc to the citizens of Rheims to announce their truce with the Burgundians for 15 days. This letter talked about the truce and how Joan of Arc felt about it. This helped me understand one of the many trials that Joan of Arc went through being a military leader for the French.

This source is a letter from Joan of Arc to the people of Rheims to confirm about traitors in the city and give them comfort by telling them to stay strong in the city if fighting does come. This helped me learn about some of the things Joan had to deal with after fighting in the War. This has also showed me how much people respected Joan of Arc.

This is a painting of Charles Vll. He was a big part of Joan of Arcs life. He gave her permission to lead in the war. Once she did that, she escorted him to be crowned as king. Even after everything she had done for him, he did nothing to rescue her when she was captured. This painting gives me a visual and shows me how powerful Charles Vll was.
